WhatsApp has started rolling out a new Avatar reaction feature for the status section, with a new beta update. The latest app build is available to a limited number of beta testers, allowing them to react to Status more intuitively, and express themselves in a better way.
Spotted with the Android beta 2.23.18.9 version, WhatsApp is introducing the Avatar reaction feature to make the chat experience more fun as well as interesting. So far, the app enables users to send reactions to status via emojis. However, the company is enhancing this capability to more extent with the Avatar addition.
In case, users want to continue using the emoji reaction, they can swap easily between tabs given above these reacting icons. Although, the avatar has a better way of expressing yourself. Currently, the change is surfing in the beta phase. Though it will soon be part of a stable release.
