WhatsApp is making the group chats section more convenient for users by adding the ability to filter the conversations. As of now, you would be able to categorize the group conversations as per your requirements.
According to the revealings in the Android beta 2.23.19.7 version, the company is working on a useful feature that will filter the group chats in WhatsApp. The latest development is rolling out to some testers via the Play Store and will soon be available with a stable release.
So far, the company has introduced the respective capability in July and is finally bringing it to the surface. Users will find a new filter that will lead them to a list of their groups by excluding the individual chats. Note that the ‘Personal’ section has been renamed to Contacts for a better differentiation between conversations.
The new Contacts filters will only comprise the individual chats while the company has removed the Business filter completely in this update. This modification will help in accessing and organizing chats faster.
