WhatsApp is adding another enhancement to the Channels section in the form of a ‘Copy Links’ capability. Eventually, both Android and iOS users will be able to efficiently copy links from channel updates without facing any inconvenience.
According to the information, WhatsApp is introducing a useful option within the Channels that allows users to copy channel update links. It also lets you immediately open the channel by presenting the message the link was associated with, making it easier not to lose the context of the update.
However, it is worth mentioning that you are not required to be a Channel creator to access the update link feature. Consequently, the company has availed the latest development to all of the users with access to the Channels.
The respective feature is quite beneficial as it enables you to quickly share important updates with other people without manually forwarding the process. Currently, the feature is available to a handful of testers via the beta rollout. But the company will soon push it on the stable board.
