WhatsApp is working on an interesting feature called – Skin Tone Combination. Although this function is not fully developed yet, our partners at WABetaInfo brought us the latest insights and some screenshots as well.
Now talking about the capabilities of this feature, it will allow users to change the emoji available in the couple section. This means they will be able to set different skin tones before sharing the emoji.

WhatsApp users will feel more fun by creating their own skin tone combination with heart emoji. Let us first see the preview for a better understanding of the working method.
WhatsApp Skin Tone Combinations:
First of all, let me be clear that the team is still developing this function, and making more measurements about this. At present, there is no specific info available about the release date however, WhatsApp plans to rollout it soon.
Speaking about the customizable emojis, when users will long press on the icons (couple with heart) various skin tone options will appear afterward. As you can see in the image, there will be half icons with blank space on the other half.
From here, users can select the skin tones for different genders. In addition, they can also select which one is to place on the left side and right side. Though it’s not available for the beta testers yet, will be more fun for sure.
More about WhatsApp:
In the last update, WhatsApp rolled out the Undo Status feature for certain beta testers. This will allow the user to delete their position quickly and will work similarly to the delete function.
Still, it simplifies the whole process, allowing users to delete their status instantly. However, it is only available for the Android platform while iOS users may have to wait for a few more days.
