To manage its smart home products, the company has a Mi Home app that does a lot of good work with the Power menu of Android 11. This app helps you connect all of Xiaomi’s smart home devices like their range of air purifiers, smart lighting, Wi-Fi routers, home security cameras, and many more.
Now, the Mi Home app is receiving a new update with version V6.0. The new update comes with a redesign UI and some new features. It also brings a cleaner UI with large text and toggles, so everything becomes more accessible.
The app also introduces the sea-green color scheme, which is limited only to the app icons and power buttons that you have added to the app. Moreover, much of the functionality appears to be similar, but there are some new changes that have been added to Mi Home. Below you can check them
- Now, by tapping on the bell icon you can directly reach ‘Messaging’ from the “Mi Home” tab.
- Managing/changing your rooms in the “Mi Home” tab now opens up in a pop-up dialog rather than a full-screen dialog.
- The ‘Logs’ section has been moved to the top button-up of a separate section in the ‘Automation’ tab.
