You can now experience Android 14 share sheet on Google Photos app

Google has started rolling out the Android 14 native share sheet feature to optimize the sharing experience with the Photos app. Capturing photographs and sharing them with friends and family has become a most loved task nowadays, and with this new addition, it will be more easy and effective.

The Android 14 share sheet offers a streamlined and user-friendly interface, making it easier than ever to share media content. Whether you want to send a photo to a friend, post a video on social media, or even save an image to your device, the share sheet provides a comprehensive selection of options to choose from.

The first section shows a preview of the selected picture and the pencil icon in the corner helps to tool to quickly crop, add text, draw, and highlight the image. The carousel below links to various Google Photos actions, which is what Android 14 makes possible.

The native share sheet is rolling out with version 5.65 of Google Photos for the Pixel devices running on Android 14. However, it’s not yet available on large-screen devices, but we expect to see its availability to all eligible models soon. The share sheet will presumably remain unchanged on Android 13 and earlier.
