YouTube continues to make effective alterations that can help users in the utmost way. At present, the company has modified the settings to pause watch and search history in the YouTube application. As of now, you need to move to a different page to perform any of the mentioned operations.
As per the details, the settings page on YouTube highlights a new “Manage all history” and “Privacy” section. Tapping on the first option will bring you to a page where you can select your Google Account. Thereafter, it will load the YouTube section of the Google My Activity page.
Meanwhile, the Privacy feature is home to just blocked contacts and YouTube terms of service. Moving ahead, to pause watch your search history, you have to tap the Controls tab on the YouTube settings page and unmark two options:
- Include the YouTube videos you watch
- Include your searches on YouTube
This method is easier and more convenient than before. But in case you want to use the old switches and control then don’t worry. They are still available on YouTube Music and TV.
