YouTube Music will now let you pick songs according to your mood and emotions with some freshly added filters. This is quite similar to what we have on the original YouTube app, which ultimately provides access to content based on users’ preferences.
As per the revealings, YouTube Music is introducing five new mood filters in the activity bar. These tabs are handy and enable users to choose a song based on their emotional state. Consequently, the fresh filters are:
- Cry
- Party
- Romance
- Feel Good
- Sleep
It’s not the first time the company dropped such capabilities for its music-streaming app. Earlier, users already had access to options like Commute, Energize, Focus, Relax, and Workout. Although, Podcasts used to show mixed selections.
At the same time, YouTube has added these tweaks to the web version as well. Eventually, you would see the top carousel with eleven chips, enhancing the UI segment. New additions are approaching users gradually and will step into a broader release in the coming days.
