YouTube silently gets a new ‘Stable Volume’ feature in video settings

YouTube is bringing a unique Stable Volume feature silently on board. So far, the company didn’t announce or define how this functionality works. Although a few users on the Reddit forum spotted it and mentioned that the tech giant has implemented it in the video settings.

Going with the term, the YouTube Stable Volume feature suggests that it may control and tones up the sound across different videos, streaming in the application. In simple words, one would be able to get rid of sharp noise or a sudden decline in volume levels in various channels.

On the side hand, the inputs hint that there is some involvement of the AI tools in the respective feature that will help in recognizing and optimizing the sound pitch and levels across clips. Now that sounds quite interesting.

At this point, the feature is not available on YouTube for both Android and iOS. Perhaps, things are running in the development phase and will soon ramp walk on the platform. Stay Tuned.
