YouTube TV picks major update with video quality improvements and more

YouTube TV moderator on the Reddit platform recently announced a significant update for the application that comes along with video quality improvements. It further counts some more optimizations and tweaks which can boost the overall user experience.

Apart from tiny enhancements, the company hints at preparation for NFL Sunday Ticket. The appealing sports offering will debut with the NFL season on September 10. Meanwhile, some preseason games will launch this month, asking for users’ feedback ahead of the full release.

Eventually, users who have signed up for the Sunday Ticket page will be able to check out these games. The update also has a new monthly billing option and additional billing providers.

“…NFL Sunday Ticket games will have distinct source feeds broadcast in 1080p (a mix of native and upscaled) compared to 720p local broadcasts. We’re working with our partners to bring more 1080p HDR and 4K games to you in the future.” 

Moving ahead, the YouTube TV update brings video quality improvements as well as bug fixes. Besides, the company is revamping the ‘Library’ section and says to include ‘Catch Up’ and ‘Watch’ indicators.
