BMW launched the R NineT Racer at the India bike week in 2017, the BMW R NineT Racer is a retro-inspired bike. It features a retro-style front fairing with a round-shaped headlamp and a retro-style rear that completes the bike’s cafe racer design.
The BMW R NineT Racer is equipped with boxer-twin engines. The 1170cc, air-cooled, boxer-twin engine produces 110PS of power at 7750rpm and 116Nm of torque at 6000rpm, which can easily achieve a top speed of 200kmph.
It has 43mm telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. It also has 320mm twin-disc brakes at the front and a 265mm single-disc brake at the rear, with standard ABS. The R NineT Racer comes with 17-inch aluminum wheels fitted with tubeless tires.
The BMW R NineT Racer is expected to launch in India in October 2021 with an expected price of 17 lakhs.
