BMW releases iX2 electric car
BMW recently launched the brand-new iX2 electric car, which has two pentagonal kidney grilles and is expected to be released in the global market in March 2024. The first electric iX2 model which is launched is xDrive30, and the second iX2 model will be launched in mid-2024.
This all-new BMW iX2 xDrive30 electric car uses front and rear dual-motor all-wheel drive and is equipped with a 64.8kWh high-voltage battery pack. It is rated at 313 horsepower (230kW) combined and 364 pound-feet (494 Newton-meters) of torque, with a range of 259 miles (417 kilometers) to 279 miles (449 kilometers).
The xDrive30 accelerates from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 111 mph (180 km/h) Its fast charging is capable of up to 130 kW, while a standard on-board AC charger can deliver up to 11 kW to the high-voltage battery, charging it from zero to 100% in six and a half hours.
