Skoda is all set to launch its new Slavia in the Indian automobile market on November 18, 2021. The Skoda Slavia is expected to replace the Skoda Rapid from the Indian automobile market.
The Slavia is expected to be equipped with LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, LED taillight, a butterfly-shaped front grill, new Aluminum alloy wheels, and a shark fin antenna.
The Slavia will feature a digital meter console, a large touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink connectivity. It will also offer a multi-function steering wheel and an electronic sunroof.
The Skoda Slavia will be available in two petrol engine options: the 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, TSI petrol engine that produces 115bhp and the 1.5-liter four-cylinder TSI petrol engine that produces 148bhp of power. Both engines will come paired with a 6-speed manual/automatic transmission or a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission option.
It is expected to launch in India at a price range of between 10 to 17 lakhs, which is a bit high in comparison with the price of Skoda Rapid.
