Fisker Ocean electric SUV will make its UK debut in June 2022

Fisker’s Ocean all-electric SUV will make its UK debut later this month, according to the latest report. The Ocean is Fisker’s first electric car, unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2021, and is designed to compete with the likes of the Tesla Model Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E.

There are three versions of this car, Ocean Sport, Ocean Ultra, and Ocean Extreme. The base version of the Ocean Sport is priced at $37,499 in the United States and is expected to travel 250 miles (about 402 kilometers) on a single charge.

The Ocean Ultra version is priced at $49,999 in the United States and is expected to travel 340 miles on a single charge ( About 547 kilometers); the most expensive version of the Ocean Extreme is priced at $68,999 in the United States, and the driving range on a single charge is expected to exceed 350 miles (about 563 kilometers).

Pricing for the Fisker Ocean all-electric SUV starts at £34,990 ($42,281.916) in the UK, up from its US starting price. In October 2020, Fisker announced an agreement with manufacturing giant Magna International to produce the Ocean SUV. The car will be produced at Magna’s Graz, Austria plant from November 17, 2022, with deliveries expected to begin in November 2022.

In November 2021, Fisker announced a battery supply agreement with lithium-ion battery manufacturer CATL. Under the agreement, from 2023 to 2025, CATL will provide two different battery solutions for Fisker’s Ocean SUV, with an initial battery capacity of over 5GWh per year.
