German car manufacturer Porsche, which is widely known for its luxuries and high-performance cars, is going to launch its first all-electric car, the Taycan EV in India.
This new all-electric Porsche Taycan EV will launch in India on November 12, 2021, and it is expected to be priced at around Rs. 2 crores.
The Taycan EV has been in the global market since 2019 and it is available in three variants, namely The 4S, Turbo, and Turbo S.
The Taycan EV comes with a dual electric motor setup, with one providing power for the front wheels and one providing power for the rear wheels. The Taycan EV 4S variant produces 522 hp of maximum power and 640 Nm of maximum torque, the Turbo variant produces 670 hp of maximum power and 850 Nm of maximum torque, and the Turbo S variant produces 750 hp of maximum power and 1050 Nm of maximum torque.
The Taycan EV 4S comes with a 79.2kWh dual battery pack setup that gives it a range of 460 km, while the Turbo and Turbo S come with a 93.4kWh dual battery setup, which gives 450 km of range to Turbo variant and 420 km of range to Turbo S on a single charge.
