Skoda Slavia launch in India
Skoda has officially launched the new Slavia in the Indian automobile market. The Skoda Slavia will replace the Skoda Rapid from the Indian automobile market.
The Slavia is equipped with LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, an LED taillight, a butterfly-shaped front grill, new Aluminum alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna, rain-sensing wipers, and a sunroof.
The Slavia will feature a digital meter console, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ventilated front seats, and MirrorLink connectivity. It will also offer a multi-function steering wheel and an electronic sunroof.
The Slavia comes with six airbags as standard, It is also equipped with features such as electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, a rear parking camera, hill hold control, tire pressure monitoring, and ISOFIX seat anchorages.
The Skoda Slavia will be offered in two petrol engine options: the 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, TSI petrol engine that produces 115bhp and the 1.5-liter four-cylinder TSI petrol engine that produces 148bhp of power. Both engines will come paired with a 6-speed manual/automatic transmission or a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission option.
It is expected to be available at a starting price range of 10 to 17 lakhs, which is a bit high in comparison with the price of Skoda Rapid.
