Tesla’s Berlin Gigafactory opened on March 22 and is Tesla’s first large-scale factory in Europe. Tesla has introduced a second shift at its Berlin Gigafactory from May 20 to boost production, Tesmanian previously reported.
In addition, Tesla CEO Elon Musk emailed employees this week that the Berlin Gigafactory produced nearly 1,000 cars last week. It is reported that the annual output of Tesla’s Berlin Gigafactory in the first phase is expected to be 500,000 vehicles.
Moreover, delivery data shows that in the first quarter of 2022, Tesla delivered 310,048 vehicles, with 295,324 Model 3 and Y deliveries, and 14,724 Model S and X deliveries.
