Android 14 QPR1 Beta causing random vibrations for some Pixel users
Google Pixel devices are the first to fetch the ultimate features of Android 14 in the form of QPR1 Beta builds but in the latest edition, the update is causing some random vibrations, which is quite annoying for users. And the strange point is, the action is taking place without any alerts or notifications.
Several Pixel owners on the Reddit platform are sharing the details of this new issue. To begin with, a user carrying a standard Pixel 6 reported that he is dealing with random vibrations without notifications, after the Android 14 QPR1 Beta update.
Adding more, the user said that the phone is currently in the 2.1 version although, the issue came into existence in Beta 2. Even tricks like restarting the device didn’t work in favor. Here is what the Pixel 6 owner said:
“I randomly get notifications like vibrations for a week or less and I don’t know how to fix that. It’s definitely a software issue cause it has its own unique pattern (zz__zz). Restart doesn’t help. I didn’t test whether it stops when haptics are off or in “sound” mode (I always use “vibration only”). Has anyone faced this issue? If so, are there any fixes?”
Another individual said that it is very annoying as one gets confused upon receiving a new notification. Perhaps, Google may fix it with the upcoming version. Till then, we need to wait or try out some temporary steps such as resetting the device or clearing the system data and starting from scratch.
