Android 14 silently fixes heat and battery issues for Pixel 7 and 6 series

Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 6 phone users have been troubled with battery and overheating issues, but thanks to Android 14 which has silently fixed the problems. Eventually, the company implemented some optimizations that have now made the respective devices work efficiently.

According to the details, Google’s tensor chipsets tend to run hot which often results in overheating defects. Meanwhile, some nasty bugs in the system as well as third-party apps led to battery drain problems for the ultimate Pixel handsets.

These overheating and battery issues were mainly affecting the Pixel 7 and 6 smartphones but with Android 14, the company has resolved them. Some users on the Reddit platform assures that the device no longer gets overheated and works perfectly.

Note that the tech giant has not specifically mentioned any changes in Android 14 to address the overheating issues. Perhaps, these could be the under-the-hood tweaks that the company made for a productive experience.
