Google has recently launched the fantastic Pixel 8 series on the user platform but despite its freshness, the device is struggling with the selfie camera issue. In recent times, several users reported how there is a lack of focus while clicking new shots.
Before we reach a conclusion, let us tell you that the Pixel 8 does not support the autofocus capability, just like the previous models. However, the front lens is built in such a manner that it can capture snaps at highly sensitive and narrow aperture, focusing more content in the picture.
Even though, some Google Pixel 8 smartphone users are complaining about the selfie camera defects. Describing the issue, a user said that one needs to extend their arm fully until their face appears small in the frame to grab the focus.
Ok weird selfie camera thing on Pixel 8 series. Look at view finder vs. final image. I sorta look dead in the view finder right?
That's how it looks in every single third party app. Needs to be fixed ASAP. pic.twitter.com/s7zzrNRnPr

Thus, Autofocus is not the problem here but something else. We hope that the company will address this flaw in the upcoming days and fix it completely.
