Google Chrome shows an odd red arrow bug for some Android users
Google Chrome is constantly receiving impressive features, but recently a few Android users encountered a strange red arrow bug that is interrupting the overall browsing experience. Notably, the symbol signifies updating the application, even when no new versions are available.
As per the reports, some users running Android 13 and 14 builds on their handsets observed a red arrow on Google Chrome, which is undoubtedly a strange bug. The anonymous sign appears in the top-right corner of the New Tab page on the application.
Clicking on this icon opens an overflow menu, showing an ‘Update Chrome’ prompt and quotes – “Newer version is available”. However, when users tapped on this statement, it leads them to the Chrome Beta Play Store listing even if they are running the latest stable app build.

Though it’s not harming the app or its functions. Yet, it seems to be an irritating issue that Google will surely pull off in the coming days.
