Posted on

Google offers a free VPN for Pixel 7 devices that provide an extra layer of security when using mobile and Wi-Fi networks. But recently the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphone users have started facing the Google One VPN issue after running Android 13 QPR2 beta on their devices.

This Android 13 QPR2 beta has brought the Google One VPN issue which is ruining the free VPN network experience of Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro users. This nifty feature is like an extra function that gives you added peace of mind on potentially insecure networks.

Running your device on beta versions often leads you to face some or other issues. This time also, the users running the recent Android 13 QPR2 Beta are also facing various issues and the recent one is a VPN issue. It also seems like the company has disabled this feature for some time.

As per the information, when Pixel 7 users try to enable the VPN function it’s getting temporarily and instantly disconnected or fails to start. Further, as soon as you hit a roadblock your device will incorrectly indicate that you need to “sign in” and “check your subscription status.

But the problem is not with the subscription, because some users have subscribed to the 2TB storage tier but then too encountered the same problem. To get an easy solution, users can Force stop” the Google One app within Settings and clear the app cache and data, then reboot their phone.

To be mentioned, this process will not work on the Pixel 7 devices trying to access the free VPN feature. Hence, there is only one way to get out of this flaw to rollback your device to the stable Android 13 update. If you are one of those who are facing the issue, then let us know in the comment section below.
