Google Pixel Watch users report charging issues after latest update

Google Pixel Watch owners were enjoying the latest update and its significant improvements when suddenly they started facing issues with the charging segment. According to the information, the wearable now takes longer to power up itself due to recent firmware.

For your information, the original smartwatch can energize itself from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes. However, a new firmware led to charging issues for the Google Pixel Watch, which resulted in longer powering times. In other words, the device now takes 45 minutes to reach 50%.

As of now, it takes 20 minutes more, or 75 minutes, to reach 80%. Previously, you’d be almost done charging in that amount of time. Meanwhile, getting to 100% increased by 30 minutes to 110 minutes. On this matter, the tech giant said:

“Firmware update for Google Pixel Watches required us to review the charging times, the new times are what the average user will experience”
