At the end of September, Samsung released an Android 12-based One UI 4 beta program in South Korea, which is applicable to Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, followed by India.

Later, the company started recruiting Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 users for the One UI 4 beta testing activity. Moving on, both the devices received the first One UI 4 beta update via OTA.
At the same time, the One UI 4 beta seems to have some serious issues, which are related to the cover display of the Galaxy Z Fold 3. According to some users, they are unable to experience 120Hz high refresh rate on the external screen after installing One UI 4 Beta 1.
Anyways, Samsung has acknowledged the issue and confirmed that the 120Hz external screen issue of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 foldable phone will be fixed in the next One UI 4 beta update.
Although the beta operations manager did not reveal any specific timeline for the release of the next Android 12-based One UI 4 beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
