OnePlus 11 reportedly blocking calls after latest OxygenOS update

Posted on

OnePlus 11 smartphone users are now reporting a ‘blocking calls’ issue on the community forum. Eventually, it gives the idea that device holders are not able to connect on the phone call due to some unknown bugs in the system. Although let’s take a detailed view of this matter.

Recently, a user started a new thread entitled ‘blocked calls on OnePlus 11 5G’. Sharing the problem, the phone owner said that he is using a Chinese variant that has reflashed under OxygenOS. After updating to the latest build, calls from the handset were blocked.

Further, the handset shows a message every time it blocks a call –

“You are using a device that is sold only in China. Its communication functions are limited in your region. Please visit the OnePlus official website and contact support for assistance.”

We have already mentioned in our previous report that the flagship model is going through a tough time and facing several issues. Now here is part two. As of now, a user complained that OnePlus 11 phone suddenly started blocking calls.

On contacting the service center, the technician cited that the servicing will cost $50, without assuring that they will fix the issue. On the other hand, a user said that the issue has been occurring for long weeks, especially with the Chinese variant, and didn’t receive any fix so far.

Responding to the thread, a few more users said that they have been facing the same issue. It seems as if the issue is quite big and the company should take action towards it. By that time, let us know if you are also facing the same problem in your OnePlus 11 handset, in the comment section.
