OnePlus recently started pushing the August 2023 software update for the Nord 3 smartphone but there’s no effective fix to the battery issue. Users once again reached the community forum and mentioned that the battery draining remains persistent even after installing the latest OxygenOS firmware.
Last month, we reported about OnePlus Nord 3 and its battery issue which was no less than a shock. So far, the company has pushed off two updates specifically with battery improvements. However, it didn’t make any major changes to the device or fixed the problem.
August 2023 OxygenOS Update
The information reveals that OnePlus Nord 3 is receiving the August 2023 update with improved system stability, a newly released security patch, as well as an extension for battery life. But things aren’t in favor and continue to trouble users.
Highlighting the defects, a user said that after the latest OxygenOS build:
- The battery is draining quite fast now
- The app drawer takes time to load after doing left-right gestures on the home screen.
Software Issue?
It is worth mentioning that the majority of the Nord 3 users found this issue after upgrading to the first update for the device. They stated that the phone was working fine just before we installed the newest update.
So it could be a software issue and a patch or improvements update may fix it. However, we don’t have a clue what OnePlus is doing in this matter.
