The story begins when a OnePlus Nord CE 3 user initiates a thread on the community forum entitled ‘Battery Drain Issue’. Sharing his experience, the user said that after using for just 5 days, the device resulted in a battery-draining defect.
Adding more, the phone holder quoted that he is a moderate user who never plays games and rarely watches YouTube videos or movies on the handset. Besides, he used to spend 1 or 2 hours on social media and mainly used the device for calls and WhatsApp.
However, even after such a moderate level of usage, Nord CE 3 5G is offering a total screen time of three and a half hours. Notably, the device owner compared the latest model with those of Samsung and Xiaomi which provide more than 7 hours of screen time.
Yes! It is quite disappointing to see such problems in the devices that have not completed even a month. Perhaps, it’s time for OnePlus to keenly focus on both hardware and software aspects to maintain its place in the smartphone market.
