OnePlus continues to feed its devices with healthy features and improved capabilities via its firmware rollouts. But in recent times, several users reported that they are dealing with OxygenOS software upgrade failure on their OnePlus handset, every time they try to begin the installation.
Thanks to OnePlus, the company has recommended some significant norms that you can try when facing the OxygenOS software upgrade failure. In addition, the tech giant has listed a few issues that could be a cause behind the upgrade blunder.
If the online upgrade fails, these could be one of the reasons:
Issue 1
- The current network is unstable and the download upgrade package is likely to be damaged or missing.
- How to fix: Try again in a different network environment
Issue 2
- The current battery of the mobile phone is too low. When the battery of the phone is below 20%, the system will restrict to upgrade online.
- How to fix: Charge it for a while and try again. Also, ensure at least 50% of the battery before installation.
Issue 3
- During the upgrade process, you may interrupt the upgrade by unknowingly touching a button.
- How to fix: Users can try to perform the upgrade again.
Issue 4
- The phone has been ROOT and other operations have been done before, resulting in the failure of the system upgrade.
- How to fix: Download the flash package from the official website or go to the service center for processing.
