Acer’s May 2022 revenue was NT$22.177 billion, fall by 10.6% year-on-year

According to the latest report, PC brand manufacturer Acer announced today that the monthly consolidated revenue in May was NT$22.177 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.6%, due to the improvement of supply chain conditions, a month-on-month increase of 15.4%; the accumulated consolidated revenue in the first five months was NT$119.776 billion, a decrease of 1.27% year -on-year.

Acer said that the highlights of its revenue performance included a 23% month-on-month increase in its e-sports business in May and a 174.5% month-on-month increase in Chromebook product revenue in May. Acer pointed out that the new business in incubation also showed significant growth momentum in May.

Moreover, Acer Games’ revenue in May increased by 69.4% month-on-month and 114.6% year-on-year, and the accumulated revenue in the first five months increased by 28.5% year-on-year; revenue increased by 30.2% month-on-month and 33.8% year-on-year. The accumulated revenue in the first five months increased by 145.9% year-on-year.

In addition, Acer said that non-PC and display business revenue accounted for 21.3% of the overall revenue in May, an increase of 12.1% month-on-month and an increase of 18.3% year-on-year. The cumulative revenue in the first five months increased by 26.6% year-on-year.
