According to the latest report, the world’s top ten IC design manufacturers in the first quarter of 2022 revenue reached 39.43 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 44%.

Qualcomm, NVIDIA, and Broadcom ranked in the top three consecutively, while AMD surpassed MediaTek to fourth in the world after the acquisition of Xilinx. Will Semiconductor and Cirrus Logic also made the top 10 for the first time in terms of revenue.
- Benefiting from the growth performance of the mobile phone, RF front-end department, and the Internet of Things and automotive departments in the first quarter, Qualcomm’s revenue in this quarter reached US$9.55 billion, an increase of 52% year on year, ranking first in the world.
- Nvidia has benefited from the expansion of GPU applications in data centers, and its revenue share has increased to 45.4%, surpassing 45% of the game application business, with total revenue of 7.9 billion US dollars, an annual increase of 53%.
- Broadcom has a lot of revenue in semiconductor solutions, including network chips, broadband communication chips, and storage and bridge chips, maintaining stable sales performance, with revenue reaching US$6.11 billion, an annual increase of 26%.
- After the addition of Xilinx, AMD’s revenue reached 5.89 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 71%, but even excluding Xilinx, due to strong sales in the enterprise, embedded, and semi-customized sectors, AMD’s own revenue still hit a record high of $5.33 billion.
- MediaTek Dimensity series processor shipment volume, coupled with the successful product mix optimization, revenue reached 5.01 billion US dollars, an annual increase of 32%.
