Moreover, Realtek’s second-quarter consolidated revenue was 30.499 billion yuan, a record high in a single quarter, with a quarterly increase of 2.5%; the accumulated self-consolidated revenue in the first six months of this year was 60.255 billion yuan, an annual increase of 22.52%.

A few days ago, Realtek said that global semiconductors are still facing many challenges such as epidemics, supply and demand imbalances, and geopolitics. However, with the development and upgrading of 5G communications, Internet networks, and artificial intelligence, the market demand for semiconductors still has a lot of room for growth.

Realtek pointed out that Wi-Fi 6 wireless network chips gradually replaced Wi-Fi 5 in the PC and router markets last year and are expected to become mainstream specifications this year. In addition to improving the design and opening of Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E, it will also work on the development of Wi-Fi 7 products.
