Samsung regained its position in Fortune’s top 50 most admired companies globally
Samsung Electronics has regained the Fortune list of the 50 topmost admired companies in the world, according to a survey published by US Economic Magazine.
Samsung Electronics has gained 7.56 points this year and earlier it was 7.50. Samsung received the best rating in five rating categories, including innovation, global competitiveness, and quality of products/services, and received the second-highest rating in four categories, including social responsibility and public management.
Samsung was ranked 39th for the first time in 2005 and became one of the most admired companies in the world. And Samsung topped the list, ranking 21st in 2014.
The company failed to compile this list in 2017 and 2018 due to the fall of the Galaxy Note 7 and the legal battles surrounding Samsung Group leader Lee Jae-Yong. And the tech Behmot is ranked 49th this year, the only South Korean company to make the top 50 this year.
In 2019, Samsung Electronics was ranked 50th with Exxon Mobil. However, the following year the South Korean tech giant dropped off the list again.

The Fortune list is based on the votes of approximately 3,800 corporate executives, directors, and analysts. They asked to select the 10 most acclaimed companies out of the 670 companies with the best rating in the world and give a rating based on the evaluation categories.
For the 14th continuous year in a line, Apple again back in the first place. The left top 10 companies in the list, Amazon, Microsoft, Walt Disney, Starbucks, Berkshire Hathaway, Google’s parent company Alphabet, JPMorgan, Netflix, and Costco.
