AMD released AGESA V2 1.2.0.7 microcode to motherboard suppliers and PC OEMs

In March this year, AMD admitted that when fTPM is enabled, the system may experience intermittent stuttering problems. Now, according to the latest report, AMD has released AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.7 microcode to motherboard suppliers and PC OEMs over the weekend to fix the problem.

This particular version of the AGESA microcode is reportedly particularly important for users on Windows 11, as it fixes performance stutters caused by the OS frequently polling fTPM.

In addition, the new version of AGESA is also available for AMD 300 series chipset motherboards, adding official (stable) support for the Ryzen 5000 series processors, rumored that the microcode also addresses some stability issues with the Ryzen 7 5800X3D BClk overclocking is enabled on the chip. Now, motherboard vendors and PC OEMs are pushing package 1.2.0.7 microcode to users.
