Phoenix Point will use a 4nm process, Zen4 CPU architecture, upgrade the core display to the RNDA3 architecture, and add an AI engine. AMD has stated that the “Phoenix” series processors are used for thin and light gaming notebooks, with a power consumption of 35-45W, and have LPDDR5 and PCIe Gen5 support.

For high-end gaming notebooks, AMD will also launch the “Dragon Range”, which uses Zen4 micro-architecture, 55W+ power consumption design, and supports PCIe Gen5 and DDR5 memory technology.

It is expected that the “Dragon Range” will be similar to the 12th-generation Core HX series, which is packaged from a desktop processor, which means that the “Dragon Range” may have a maximum specification of 16 cores.

AMD Phoenix Point series mobile processors are expected to be released at CES in January next year, and related notebooks will be available in the first half of next year.
