UPDATE:
According to the new information, the iPhone users are still not upgrading to the latest iOS 15, so far (first two weeks), only 21% of users have upgraded to the latest OS, according to Initial figures from research firm Mixpanel.
The company’s data is based on analyzing the devices of visitors to its websites and estimates that 20.74% of traffic is coming from iOS 15. At present, Mixpanel reports that 73.48% of users are on iOS 14, and 5.78% are on older versions.
The adopted iOS 15 number is behind the number that moved to iOS 14 over the same period last year. According to the shared data, by September 22, 2021, a total of 8.5% of users had updated to iOS 15, compared to 14.5% to iOS 14 in its first two days.

iOS 15 Adoption
Apple released the iOS 15 on Monday, after the release it gets lower adoption than the last year’s iOS 14. According to Mixpanel, only around 8.5% of users installed iOS 15 as of Wednesday at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time, compared to around 14.5% for iOS 14 as of midnight on the second day.
Apple hasn’t yet to shared the iOS 15 adoption stats. In June 2021, iOS 14 has an 85% adoption rate.
First iOS 15.1/iPadOS 15.1/macOS 12 Beta
Apple today released the first public betas of the iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 betas, one day after releasing the first betas to developers.
If you have signed up for Apple’s beta testing program, you can now download the iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 updates over the air.
In addition, the company also released a new public beta of the macOS 12 Monterey beta to public beta testers. The public beta testers can download the macOS 12 Monterey update from the Software Update section of the System Preferences app.
iPhone storage full issue
After updating to the iOS 15, several iPhone users have reached social media/forums to report the serious issue with the storage of their devices.
The users are getting an “iPhone Storage Almost Full” warning in the Settings section, even their iPhone having a sufficient amount of storage left.
Apple Support is advising users to restart their devices. Apple may also release iOS 15.0.1 if the issue doesn’t resolve by the tricks.
