Apple today updated the Apple Support app to version v4.8, adding new features that make it easier to service at Apple Store retail stores or Apple authorized service providers reserve.
The updates revamped the appearance of the appointment system and improved the organizational structure to enable faster access to equipment, support tools, and more.

The app now opens with a “tell us what’s going on” interface, so users can enter what they need to get it quickly, and it also provides a tiled interface for the user’s various devices instead of a list.
Depending on the product users have, there are recommendations that may be useful, and there are quick-access tools to reset passwords and check AppleCare coverage.
When booking a repair, there are new sorting and filtering features to find the right repair, with options including same-day repair, appointment, and distance. Apple’s full description of the update is below.
-
Easier access to support tools and assistance with all Apple products.
-
Refreshed appointment page with more powerful sorting and filtering capabilities.
-
Performance improvements and bug fixes.
