To celebrate the retail store’s grand opening, the glass façade is wrapped in colorful artwork by renowned Canadian designer Mo Bofill in collaboration with Musqueam artist Debra Sparrow.
The two-story outdoor store will replace Apple’s existing store in the adjacent Pacific Mall, which originally opened in 2008. Apple shared a photo of the new store today, offering an up-close look at the temporary artwork, wood-paneled ceiling, green wall backdrop, and patio plaza.
Throughout the flagship store’s grand opening weekend, visitors can participate in free Today at Apple events, including live performances by Vancouver rapper and musician Boslen, a Q&A hosted by Apple Music radio host George Stromboloupoulos, and a performance by award-winning choreographer Chloé Arnold.
The Apple Pacific Centre store will be Apple’s third street-level store in Canada, joining the Montreal-area Apple St. Catharines and Apple DIX30 retail locations.
