Mike Levine, the co-founder of CIRP, explained: “It seems that battery life has more impact on consumers than screen condition.

14% of iPhone buyers said they needed to recharge their old iPhone’s battery every few hours. Only 6% of iPhone buyers said their screen was broken and their old phone couldn’t be used, while others 12% are still using screen devices reluctantly.

CIRP’s Josh Lovitz said: Since most new iPhone users already have “good enough phones”, it is expected that a small number of consumers will continue their plans to buy a new iPhone through self-repair. will postpone.

CIRP reports:

It is reported that Apple plans to provide self-service repair to users in the United States in early 2022, after which it will be expanded to more market segments.
