iPad Air 5 or M1 iPad Pro, which one is better?

iPad Air 5 vs M1 iPad Pro

Apple has recently unveiled its latest iPad Air 5 gadget among its users. The fifth-generation device packs itself with a high-tech M1 chip processor. Thus, promises to give a reliable and effective performance. But, is it much better than M1 iPad Pro? If yes then how? And if no, then why not?

Of course, the new device seems to be a reflection of the Pro series. Moreover, it contains various features that might prove supreme to the Pro device. However, most of the users till now are not able to accept that the fresh comer is best over the previous gadget. Here are a few of the reasons:

Screen & Design

If we talk about the display design, then M1 iPad Pro is a 12.9-inch device that provides a refresh rate of 120Hz alongside Promotion. Moreover, the device with a miniLED is a more colorful, brighter, and bigger version of the respective device. Whereas, iPad Air 5 limits up to a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina screen giving a refresh rate of 60Hz.

Although, the exception appears as a color variant in both the iPads. The Air 5 offers more color options and designs for the users. For instance, space grey, starlight, pink, purple, and blue.

Storage Capacity

Here also, the Pro model wins the race, as it offers 128GB of internal storage that is extendable to 2TB. As a result, users get more chances of creating, editing, and downloading multiple images and videos. Meanwhile, the new gadget remains with 64GB of storage that extends only up to 256GB.

Further, the comparison of RAM is also in favor of the Pro device. As it contains 16GB of internal memory. While iPad Pro 5 arrives only with a RAM of 8 Gigabytes.

5G Connectivity

The new fifth-generation iPad brings 5G connection with itself. Although being a sub-6GHz 5G, it does not support swift mmWave 5G networks. Whereas, iPad Pro works with such networks, providing a standard network performance to the users.

To mug up, we can say that its worth buying the new-comer device if you haven’t purchased any big-screen device yet. However, if you already owe any previous-gen device, then it’s better to stay tangled with the Pro version.
