Epic may soon make VR game for PlayStation with cross-play support

Epic originally sought cross-play support for Fortnite on PlayStation, and the company also moved to create a virtual reality game for the PS5 VR. In the same emails, Upload VR saw an interesting proposition, some of which prompted it, Epic is going to make a PSVR game instead of crossplay at Fortnite.

The email does not shed light on other details about the potential game, so it is unclear how it will be. The Epic VR was not largely developed for space, focusing on technical demonstrations prior to the release of the Robo Recall on the Oculus Rift a few years ago.

Sony has not announced the release date of its upcoming VR headset, but we know it is in development. Its controllers have haptic feedback and adaptive triggers similar to DualSense. When leaving the PlayStation Move controller, Sony’s next VR headset uses hollow ring-shaped controllers similar to the Oculus.

Since the next PSVR headset will not be released this year, you still have plenty of time to buy the PS5, which has proven to be an elusive console. Whenever there is stock in the store, it sells immediately.
