Google is again adding a new look to the Wallet app but this time with a special card-switching animation. Though the upgrade will not bring any significant changes to the surface. Yet, it will make the application a compact and focused space for your payment cards.
According to the information, the US tech giant has removed the so-called circular NFC movement. Instead, there will be a new card-switching animation on the Google Wallet app that shows as if the cards are placed on top of each other instead of side by side.
In simple words, when you will swipe to check the next card, it will appear from behind the card at the top, and reflect a carousel-like motion. Ahead, the redesigned app shows all your payment cards at the top, while bringing the loyalty cards and passes at the bottom section.
Further, the bank details and NFC symbol appear below the card with a small indicator that signifies whether it is your default payment card or not. It also gives an idea about what other payment methods you hold in the application.
Since Google Wallet comprises several things on its board such as ID cards, digital car keys, transit passes, and more useful elements, a compact version is quite important for consumers.
