Google is rolling out a new 5.9 version update for the Pixel Buds Pro devices, which brings some general optimizations alongwith with a set of new features including the conversation detection option. However, the update is available widely and will reach every eligible model soon.
The conversation detection feature will cause any audio to pause as Transparency Mode activates. When both you and your conversation partners stop speaking, Active Noise Cancellation and music will resume. The intention is to leverage AI to cut down on manual tasks.
Do you know, what’s the best part? This conversation detection feature can be enabled or disabled from the Sound settings page. It means, if you don’t find this option useful, you can turn it off totally.

Other than this, consumers of Pixel devices will also encounter some more features such as hearing wellness after installing the Google Pixel Buds Pro to the 5.9 version update.
