Google Calendar is now showing another interesting capability where it auto-hides completed tasks. The respective feature is enabled by default for some users on the web version. Let’s learn about this new tweak in more detail.
The story begins when some users reported about a new prompt in the Google Calendar app which describes how the application auto-hides completed tasks. Further, it reads the following statement:
“Completed tasks are now hidden: Use this menu to show or hide completed tasks.”
Eventually, users can set a particular time for these completed tasks by clicking on the new default tab. It will show you options like Day, Week, Month, Year, Schedule, or 4 days. At the bottom, you will find the all-new Show completed tasks, Show weekends, and Show declined events options.
Note that these new modifications are only appearing for the web version and there are no such changes for Android and iOS apps. Let’s see if the company will roll out this functionality to mobile versions in the time ahead.
