Google is implementing new changes along with three useful features in the Files app that will enhance the Nearby Share tab. In other words, the company is working on a new design that will make file sharing easier and bring convenience to your fingertips. Let’s take a detailed view of this matter.
According to the Google News channel on Telegram, the Files app will get three features and major enhancements in the UI for the Nearby Share page. The information further reveals that Google has divided this page into three main sections:
Receive Files – This feature will activate the pending file transfer mode from another device. Ahead, it makes your Android device temporarily visible to everyone nearby. Though it won’t start sharing until you accept the prompt.
Share to nearby devices – This feature proactively shows the nearest devices available for transfer. Clicking on one of the devices opens the list of files you want to transfer.
Sharing suggestions – It displays recent files with a full-screen expand button and a ‘send’ button to quickly initiate a file transfer.
