Google Voice has been struggling with an odd bug that prevented users from sending or uploading large photos in the app. However, the company immediately took action over it and has fixed the problem. As of now, users can send high-resolution images effectively.
According to the information, Google Voice has been restricting to upload of images over 2MB in the application, due to a nasty bug. It started showing an exclamation mark over the image with a ‘Not sent. Tap to retry’ prompt.
Though the company responded to its users as soon as the issue came in the limelight. The Workspace Status Dashboard explained:
“Google Voice users might encounter error messages when trying to upload large media across all platforms (Web, Android, IOS). Some files between 1 MB and 2 MB will fail to upload.”
Finally, the company has fixed the Google Voice bug related to large photos and file uploading.
