Google Wallet to get a much-needed pass sharing feature

Google has recently kicked off the July 2023 Play System firmware that reads a significant pass-sharing feature for the Wallet app. Yes, you would soon be able to share your travel and event passes with other people. Let’s dive into the details to acknowledge this matter.

Accordingly, the Google Wallet support page now shows a new entry at the bottom. It reads how people can transfer “some passes” from their Wallet app with other users. Further, they will see a Share icon appearing above these passes.

On the flip side, an official person said to TheVerge that the tech giant is working on a tweak that will let users share selective passes. To be noted, Google Wallet pass-sharing feature will let you identify and share particular passes including event tickets and boarding cards with more users. Though you won’t be able to revert the action after sharing the link.
