YouTube Music is gaining some new capabilities that will save your favorite songs automatically on the recent playlist. The company has already done a makeover of the application on the web with a redesigned look and is now bringing a few more interesting tweaks.
As of now, if you will add a new song or other music content to a fresh or existing playlist, it will eventually get saved in the same spot. The app will further confirm this process by showing a small prompt bar at the bottom area.
In case you want to alter the playlist, you can tap on the “Change” option that appears in the same snack bar. Notably, this tweak is also visible in the primary YouTube application for a few days. Meanwhile, it is live for both Android and iOS devices and rolling out gradually.

Users can access this feature by visiting the Settings section and selecting the General tab. Now turn on the toggle of “Remember most recently used playlist”. Hereafter, YouTube Music will save songs automatically in the recent playlist. In addition, you will find the Recommendations menu instead of General in the smartphone app.
