OnePlus Ace 2 special edition is finally set for launch and will make its debut on April 17 in a certain program. Alongside the announcement, the company shared some promo posters of the device on its official channels, revealing key elements.
According to previous inputs, the manufacturer said to launch a special edition of the OnePlus Ace 2 in April this year. Eventually, things have started taking shape and the tech maker has confirmed to bring a new smartphone variant in the coming days.
Speaking of the device, OnePlus shared an amazing teaser, describing the release date and a few tweaks on the design. On the flip side, the image shows a custom gift box that holds surprising gifts.
To begin with, the OnePlus Ace 2 Yuanshen customized gift box revolves around the popular characters Xiangling and Rice Crust of ‘Yuanshin’, a Chinese game. Consequently, the phone adopts a red plain leather surface on the rear end, representing the fire attribute.
Besides, the handset holds a decorated outlook with stitches on the left and right sides. The packaging of this custom gift box further appears in a Chinese-style lunch box design which makes the overall scenario more interesting.
However, the company didn’t reveal what this ultimate gift box will bring to its consumers. Just like OnePlus Ace Pro, the company is now adding the OnePlus Ace 2 Genshin Impact Limited Edition to its Ace lineup.
OnePlus Ace 2 Special Edition: Specifications
In terms of specs, the special edition won’t differ much from the standard OnePlus 11R (Ace 2) model. Although, a huge difference that we may find is the RAM variant. As per the details, the OnePlus Ace 2 Yuanshen edition will hold 18GB of RAM.
Whereas, the internal storage would be 512GB. The other specifications will be identical to the Ace 2 handset. For instance, the phone will equip a 6.74-inch flexible OLED panel with a 2772 x 1240 pixels resolution.

Next, it will power the Snapdragon 8+ chipset with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 flash memory. The phone will bring a 5000mAh battery, supporting 100W SuperVOOC fast charging.
Since the device is built on a gaming edition, the device will bear all the high-end gaming technologies, similar to the Ace 2 smartphone.
