OnePlus recently attended the TechCrunch Disrupt 2023 conference and marked its 10th anniversary. At the same time, the company officially stapled the tag of ‘launch soon’ on its first-ever OnePlus Open foldable smartphone. Once again, we may see a shift in the release time of the new device, but there won’t be a delay anymore.
According to the details, the tech giant said:
“The new handset is set to redefine the concept of foldable smartphones by delivering all-around flagship-level experiences in a compact foldable form factor.”
In addition, OnePlus promised to soon avail more inputs regarding the device on the official website and other official handles. Perhaps, we may expect that the first foldable phone launch from OnePlus is around the corner and could show up somewhere in October 2023.
Speaking more on this matter, the OnePlus Open is likely to be a replicate of the OPPO Find N3, at least in terms of design. Though the company will make ultimate changes to the software and core mechanisms along with a special OxygenOS version upgrade.
