The LineageOS team, one of the most popular unofficial firmware for Android smartphones, has released Lineage 18.1 builds based on the Android 11 operating system for a new batch of smartphones.
In early April, Lineage 18.1 was released for 6 dozen smartphone models including the OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T Pro, Redmi Note 5 Pro, and Moto X (2014), and now, as per the latest info, seven-year-old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S5, six-year-old LG G3, and Xiaomi Mi A2 have also joined them.

Note that we are talking about official Lineage 18.1 firmware and not assemblies made by one or two enthusiasts. Before installing Lineage 18.1, it is recommended to make sure you have up-to-date backups and carefully read the instructions.
In addition to the standard innovations of Android 11, the Lineage 18.1 shell brings additional new features, including the built-in open-source SeedValut backup solution, redesigned voice recorder and music apps, dark theme support for all LineageOS apps, and so on.
